2023 - HHD Days of Awesome Registration

Welcome to Days of Awesome registration! We cannot wait to celebrate alongside you and your children for the High Holy Days! For more information on our amazing family services for families with toddlers and elementary-age children, please visit our High Holy Days webpage. To register your child for Days of Awesome activities, which provide meaningful opportunities for learning, community, and spirit for your children while you attend a formal Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur service, please continue.

Children ages 2-5 and in grades K-8 are eligible to participate. 

In order to participate in Days of Awesome, parents with children ages 2-5 must check their children in and out at our kiosk in Room 51.
 
In order to participate in Days of Awesome, parents with children in grades K-8 must check their children in and out at our kiosk in Room 36. 
  • Activities will use Rooms 30-36, as well as the Pre-K yard. Families should use the stairwell across from the Plotkin Chapel entrance to proceed to check-in. All other stairwells should be blocked off.
Check-in will begin at 9:45 a.m.for Days of Awesome for children ages 2-5 (Early Child Care) and 11:15 a.m. for Days of Awesome for children in grades K-8. Snacks will be provided, both on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Days of Awesome is available at the following dates and times:
  • Rosh Hashanah: Saturday, September 16
    • Early Child Care (ages 2-5): 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
    • Days of Awesome (grades K-8): 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
  • Yom Kippur: Monday, September 25
    • Early Child Care (ages 2-5):10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
    • Days of Awesome (grades K-8): 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Registration is required to ensure appropriate child-to-teacher ratios, as mandated by the California Education Code and California State Law.

By checking here, I acknowledge that an authorized adult will check-in and pick up my child from Days of Awesome within the registration and pick-up times indicated above. I further acknowledge that failure on the part of my child to heed instructions from Days of Awesome or Temple staff may result in immediate dismissal, which will require me to retrieve my child.
